Modern Day Peter PanA Poem by moderndaypeterpanModern Day Peter Pan Sometimes I love things so much that they absolutely break my heart. Children break my heart every single day. One day they will grow up and lose their innocence and most importantly they become harshly judgmental. I’m a modern day Peter Pan, striving to stay young, striving to keep my innocence. I push my views on others in attempt to keep the world a young place. But they’ve all already grown up. We live in a harsh world, a polluted world, a judgmental world, but we also live in a mature world. And that is possibly the saddest thing of all. © 2010 moderndaypeterpanReviews
