the blistering wind
tore at her face
she could feel
the icy sting
envelop her body

curled in a ball
she tried to summon
the warmth of her core
to no avail

forever lost
to the screams
of her mind

Wow.. Um, very dark, but then again, with the tital, it was supposed to be. I love the descriptions, great poem.
