Prem assured? Hijacked elation!

Prem assured? Hijacked elation!

A Poem by Craig Thomas
"

Football, premiership, rivals, rivalry

"
The league is never over
Until game thirty eight
Topping at week one
Does not make you great
Three points clear at Christmas
And you shouldn't celebrate
If you're still sat there at easter
That's good, but not checkmate

But don't book your open top bus
You'd be naive to assume
As twist and turns are coming
And disappointments loom
No medals are given at Christmas
So don't build a trophy room
Prepare for the worst and
May you house be filled with gloom
