I Crafted the OrbA Poem by Ron Hoganfree verse.
I crafted the orb
to great perfection. I spent many hours on this thing-- though upon seeing it, the other gods grew jealous. Quickly they grabbed my masterpiece, giggling as they thought aloud of ways to "improve" it. At length they brought it back-- it was dented with valleys and oceans, marred with plateaus and mountains. Life grew, decayed, and fed upon itself. "What do you think of it?" one of them asked me. I retorted, "It is ugly." © 2009 Ron HoganReviews
