Calm down and Think

this is a short story that i wrote about a teen girl and her friend. hope you enjoy.

The room grows tense as the scared teenage girl huddles up and escapes into her own world while her friend tries to comfort her. He never meant to hurt her but he thinks that her friend is a psychotic b***h. The girl can't think straight so she starts yelling and insulting him, but her mind is yelling at her to calm down and think as he tries to explain himself. At that moment she really doesn’t care though she doesn’t want his lame excuses. She tells him that everything that he told her and is telling her is a lie and that he never loved her. Why is she saying this when she knows that she doesn’t mean it? She cares about him too much and she knows deep down that he is a good person. He just wanted to save the friendship but she can’t see the truth that is right in front of her. She defiantly can’t tell him that she has loved him nonstop since freshman year except for that time when she was dating that other dude but even then she still loved him, but that means nothing to her now. She tried to deny her love for so long. Later she stops and thinks what have I done. now her mission is to fix the wrongs that she has done and restore the friendship. this mission won't be easy but it has to be done. She can’t say that she hates him because she has kept his letter. it is the sweetest thing that she has ever read. Why does he have to be so nice? She doesn’t want to lose him as a friend, besides he is too tall for her anyways. She can’t believe the hurtful and horrible words that spilled from her mouth like blood gushing from a wound. Her heart is burdened with regret and guilt from her irrational and thoughtless actions. The mission has been assigned and so it shall be completed. She walks into the room the next day and he avoids her. Her anger is beginning to take over and it takes all her strength to control it. This mission is not going to be easy. He says something but it sounds kind of rude, what is that supposed to mean.

The story is good and I can see how her feelings for him are strong. yes she does need to make things right with him and it wont be easy, but I think that she can savage her relationship with him, if he really is a good friend he will understand.

This is a great story and one we can all relate to.
