NalydA Poem by OtherWorldWomanI dedicate this poem to a friend lost among the shadows of his own discontentment. Please, let him find himself in a good place once again.
A sculpture of yourself
Built up by the work of your own hands Behind a hardened layer of clay Will you break, if I shatter this beguiling skin? I remember you When freedom swarmed Was it too much, to carry on your own? I remember when you had eyes And you smiled And you spoke I wonder Is your shell empty now? Having been in there so long... Carried away With the dust of your crusty outer self I fear to know to find the live body of a deceased soul Will you break if I shatter this beguiling skin? © 2011 OtherWorldWoman |
