RecluseA Poem by OtherWorldWoman
I know
I am not The prettiest girl at the ball However When your aura Wanders close A piece of me Begins to dance, inside Though my words May not be Nimble or fluid Though my legs Do not Carry me swiftly My heart Is graceful and patient I know you Very well and yet I wonder still, Who you are... Waltzing Into this somber picture With your Radiant array of rainbow paints Even to go as far As brushing highlights of deep amaranth to my cheeks Every time Your presence is recognized The soul That is the base of your humble self Seems to be garnished with the rare seasonings of a world filled with unanswered questions Every detail Is one that may not be reproduced by any other It draws me in Just as the vague screen of luminous stars as dusk descends The mystery Among Wild passion Toward such an incomprehensible beauty In cases even as such That I may never delve close to that light-fragrant sky to your warm, yet recluse heart © 2011 OtherWorldWomanReviews
