A Failsafe LoveA Poem by OtherWorldWoman
Swiftly lifted off the ground
to a separate world a world with different seasons Seasons that never seem to change warmth that never freezes liquid that never solidifies a failsafe love… The birds and the bees and the butterflies the sun and the rain and the sky they all become one in an everlasting standstill upon the world above the stars below the sparkling sea all within reach all so distant in a failsafe love… Until it happens when things begin to fail when things begin to fail in a fail safe world when the light is cast off once more darkness surrounds once more the air becomes cold, and the seasons continue to change… Here, seasons are meant to change challenges are meant to be faced yet the imperfect perfection is harmonic emitting a half-golden glow and revealing an alternate truth The truth that balance-- whether desirable or not is what makes a purity count The truth that you cannot" have good without the bad or neither would be known… © 2010 OtherWorldWomanReviews
