Five For Silver, Six For Gold

Five For Silver, Six For Gold

A Poem by springy tart lemur
"

Written to Counting Crows' "A Murder of One"

"

At the end of worlds and streets

Things lie overturned and wrecked

If you're happy being sweet

Count yourself among the blest

When beginnings cease to rise

And time stops giving of itself

We'll all slide out like low tides

Placed upon a deep sea shelf
