Done

Done

A Poem by Erin Adams
"

pain can consume you

"

I've tried a million ways to make you see

the pain I hold

Deep inside of me

The pain that only you could ever give

The kind that drains my very will to live

But no matter how I say it,

No matter what I do

nothing ever changes

and I can't get through to you

so I'm done trying

and I'm done dying,

over and over again

You crush my soul

So I'm done crying

and I'm done buying,

the sorry's that you spew,

The Hurt that comes from you,

I'm so done.

I've held it in more time than you can know

The misery that

only you control

The tears that wait just begging to break free

The scars you left that never will leave me

But no matter how I say it,

No matter what I do

nothing ever changes

and I can't get through to you

so I'm done trying

and I'm done dying,

over and over again

You crush my soul

So I'm done crying

and I'm done buying,

the sorry's that you spew,

The Hurt that comes from you,

I'm so done.
