MAHATMA. ...THE REAL CHAMPION

MAHATMA. ...THE REAL CHAMPION

A Poem by SAYED THANGAL
"

Mahatma Gandhi, the symbol of peace

"
Mahatma, the full moon, illuminates the sparks
To regions so far.
From tip of each fingers drops the seeds
Of love when he strides, all they spring out thereafter.

He is a full spread white rose
Enriches catchy fragrance around,
And provides nectar to the thirsty bees
Pleasant glimpses on each faces when depart.

He is a fully ripened fruit tree
Ready to serve unbiased
Shelter and shade for the plenty
Who,by many reasons, marginalised.

He is a storm, gradually turned to
From lulling breeze that tickles leaves
Fit to shake and shatter almost all the elements
But without a weapon in the hands.

He is a dove, skilful designer
To create mansions with straw and sticks
Experienced tutor to impart techniques
To the posterity who strives to gain the mystery.

He is a power lifting champion, bundles together
And pushes ahead the heavy baggage
Of non living and living beings
That different in colour, size, shape and origin
