LET ME FREE

LET ME FREE

A Poem by SAYED THANGAL
"

Free me to sit and think a while,.......

"
Let me be free to sit lonely
Let my mind wander highly
Breaking barriers from the ways ahead
I fly high to sovereign power
Pull me my mates, the waves, to her lap
The stretched hands embrace them as boys the toys
    Saluting the familiar faces around
Again I dive deep downward .
The non stop music of birds, murmuring water falls
Urged me to proceed through the green jungle,
Supervising the surroundings, I sat a while
Knowing not how the blissful moments passed !
Strives the storm to overtake my swift wings
But to surpass me, only a dream unrealized.
Cooling me the clouds on the way
To the moon, how pleasant to stride over !
The glittering, flashing stars feel me dizzy
When my exciting eyes wheel around,
Oh, look here, I'm far above
Sipping honey aplenty , make my movements zigzag !

My pleasure...Any time...:)................
Sounds like a meditation of sorts. Moments of stillness and taking in our peaceful surroundings are important to keep our sanity in this crazy world that rushes by. The first line does not maneuver so freely however. Perhaps 'let me be free to sit lonely''....
