TO MY BELOVED

TO MY BELOVED

A Poem by SAYED THANGAL
"

You are every thing for me, I can't live a single day without you.

"
Loneliness I never felt

for day in and day out

you are with me,

You live for me !

And so I have no life without you

The source of all my energy,

I do believe I can't stand upright

But for you to keep me straight

Concerned only about myself

My deeds lead you to tragedies

Not once, but a series of them troubling you

Things unbearable, unpardonable,

The eyes- the beauty of your face

 Darkened by the hands black,

The wounds unhealed which I made

Visible still on your prime parts !

Yet , no doubt , you love me;

The beauty once possessed , diminished,

Doubtful I am , how long you 'll nourish me. !

ok thanks, but my beloved is the nature
Well, Sayed, this poem says a lot. Written by a man who is used to analysing his and others feelings methinks. In satisfying oneself, one cannot avoid hurting others....thus, do we think that we should have no satisfaction for ourselves? We would have no life. You understand others, and therefore any harm can only be minor and accepted by all parties. Hmmmm, I could rabbit on and on, but suffice to say, well done. A nice read.

You are welcome...:)..................................
A bittersweet read, sounds as though she's devoted, we should never deliberately wound those we love...no wonder you have doubts.

the wounds unhealed which I made. there is a sadness to this the sadness we bring to others especially those we profess to love. Well written .
