THE NIGHT

THE NIGHT

A Poem by SAYED THANGAL
"

how beautiful to see the full moon night

"
THE NIGHT
Still bright , though in silence ,the landscape,
To the beloved smiles , the moon , above.
The breeze pushes away the clouds envious
Interlude in between !
The waves  lull her  to sleep
The glory of their mistress , the birds praise.
The mist sets the  blanket ready
To ensure her a slumber calm and  peaceful
The wind - with strength much reduced
 Keep the fanning the beloved
The groom , with side ways ,peeps
At the sleeping love, while stars  escort,
Singing and dancing. Angels for the delayed rise appealed,
For their happy moments eternal.
