A Town in the Cliffs

A Town in the Cliffs

A Poem by Norrin Shearer
"

A series of Haiku based on a beautiful painting.

"
A town in the cliffs
The quiet village rests here
Humble huts stand by

Hear water trickle
Oceans part themselves around
The town in the cliffs

The clouds sitting low
Give a kiss to the water
Making the sky blue

The docks sprawl outwards
Into the ocean waters
Housing all the boats

People rest calmly
Sleeping softly in their beds
A town in the cliffs
