THROUGH THE WINDOW

I can hear you breathing when you’re watching me.

I can see you through the window.

You don’t have to live in the darkness that you’ve created.

I know that you are near.

But as you walk inside, you can creep towards an unsuspecting sheep.

To devour their complete lack of will to live,

It’s the prey that keeps you going.

I’ll meet you in the kitchen at 3:00am,

When I’m looking through the kitchen doors.

A mangled tied up corpse on Christmas lights coming flashing towards my understanding.

I know you’re there, just come out.

There is nothing to hide.

I can feel your desire to taste my flesh,

With a straight-edge tongue inside your mouth.

Just stuff me on the front lawn when you’re done.
