BE CAREFUL AND DON’T FALL
by Rïén Kelso Look up there, Swinging in the air. Side to side. Who could have done this? Weightless and floats, So stiff to the touch. He is mortal now. Where is the monster? We fall down. Gravity is pulling. Falling from, My misery’s building. Who could it be? From this rope, hanging free. Hanging from rafters. An anchor for rooftops. Brutally killed, Like a glass of wine spilled. A lot of commotion, Why not go swimming in the ocean? Ambition’s rising. Temptation’s tricky. Take a life, Not only is murder sticky. All this could be, Is a man’s life set free. Earlier than expected, Inspectors connect it. Fired at will, A trigger was pulled. But not by a gun, More like a sinister force. Rest in peace, Or rest in pieces. Bad times fall apart, While good times screeches. Lying there at night, I cannot complete. The mystery puzzle, As much as I struggle and tussle. An assassins attack, Breaking more of my back. My cold life is at an end, Awaiting cold death as my friend. Dimension escape, My brain’s burning at the stake. Struggling to see, What death has for me.
