I Hear Pain

I can hear pain

Coming out of the blue

Whispering my name

The way you used to

Talking so slow

In a familiar voice

And just like you

It leaves me no choice

As it's always with me

Whether I like it or not

Ready to remind me

If I ever forgot

Every second every minute

It's got so much to say

I may not want to

But I listen all day

I can hear pain

What it says is true

I'll never be alone

We'll make it through

I never really thought of hearing pain.. but yes..I guess we can..hear it as well as feel it and your poem really speaks to that .. well done.
