TwitchA Poem by Spenceri'll miss it
you told me not to love
the way your body jolted when you slept i told you i would hold you tighter you apologized to me when we first met that your twitches might turn me away i told you to never say you were sorry you twitched and jerked my body awake with a sharp uppercut to the jaw once, while you slept soundly. i smiled down at you, the brightest smile my soul has ever ignited you asked me if the tremors hit last night if the fear induced spasms revealed themselves once again i kissed your open mouth and told you my touch brought them to a cease you feared these tremors more than anything but i find a deep discontent so tell me, please tell me who will end your torment for you now that i am gone.
