Tribal

A Poem by spence

Ears pound with the sound
Of the drum beat all around
Uninhibited primitives bound about the ground….

Heartbeats pound in the round
At the rapture that resounds
Evangelical on stage
Utters holy sounds
Mere mortals see a portal
Fall in worship to the ground….

The origins of most faiths can be traced to a single source
The Enuma Elish: From the ancient’s lore- scribed on tablets of clay
Written in a script known as cuneiform...

5000 years before the creation of our Holy Lord
When divine manipulation brought to the fore;

Mass indoctrination
Many permutations
Misinterpretations
And declarations of war

Clandestine clairvoyance kept chaos in control
Exploitation
Degradation
Kept populations in their role
Incantations
Damnation
Fostered fear for those earthly souls

Discrimination of disbelieving heathen pagans
Set the course toward their goal
Of a world embroiled in hatred
First degradation
Then extermination
While all bow to false virtues that the demon breed extol....

Ears pound with the sound
Of the drum beat all around
Uninhibited primitives bound about the ground….

Heartbeats pound in the round
At the rapture that resounds
Evangelical on stage
Utters holy sounds
Mere mortals see a portal
Fall in worship to the ground….

Intolerance toward their intolerance is intangible
Though tenacious
Some may say...
Perhaps outrageous...
But outspoken?
'You must be joking'
Say the papal shamans
‘We are the Cho-Zen
The infallible few
Who deal in divine divisiveness
While indoctrinating the likes of you
With fire and brimstone as your eternal debt
Lest ye forget your penance!
So noses to the grindstone
And mindlessly condone
Profit for we prophets
At the cost of you and your own
Do not free thy sight from afterlife

Perfect Paradise or
Eternal Night’

Ears pound with the sound
Of the drum beat all around
Uninhibited primitives bound about the ground….

Heartbeats pound in the round
At the rapture that resounds
Evangelical on stage
Utters holy sounds
Mere mortals see a portal
Fall in worship to the ground….
