The Death of God

The Death of God

A Poem by spence
"

A villanelle parable

"
Creationists clutching at sterile old straws
Scimitar and sword; their cause Holy War
Let fallacies fade; let myths be no more!

Aged fruit of Eden is plucked and then eaten
As Babylon’s w***e recruits freedom’s legion
Creationists clutching at sterile old straws

Feeding their flock on stale bread and fishes
A diet nutritious… for those superstitious
Let fallacies fade; let myths be no more!

Like Jack and the Beanstalk; a Giant lived high
But Jack stole the gold..like knowledge denied... by
Creationists clutching at sterile old straws

Let’s sever foundations of fairytales flawed
Let the once feared fall- dead to the floor
Let fallacies fade; let myths be no more!

It’s time mankind turned toward a new season
The reason of heathens, once decreed treason
Creationists clutching at sterile old straws
Let fallacies fade; let myths be no more!

Hey, Spence. Interesting ( from a deceived creationist's point of view).
No worry, no surprises....but to my point of view the myth is to believe that anything but God Himself could create the symmetry of a single snowflake, let alone the entire world and all the people therein.
