Royalty

Royalty

A Poem by spence

Do you see yourself superior
To the likes of we inferior?
A flag flying mass delirium
Patriotic lesser breed?

Is your birthright your ascendancy?
A Royal decree indemnity
Do you see us bowed obediently
While upon your noble steed?

Do we pale beneath thy majesty
We commoners- we travesties
Do you conceive we work for thee
As yourself you cannot feed?

Do you believe that your genetics
Are higher caste; eugenics?
While you flout laws of epistemic’s
Inherent inbreed seed

Where is the law that states due to ones' "breeding" they are a far superior human being. I for one have never read it, but it must be true, right? Must be if so many people adhere to that false belief.
I am as equal as the highest Monarchy as well as the person living underground in a New York sewer system. Period.
I so enjoy your pieces. Such insight, truth and get your butt moving lines.
Another fine write!!

Brilliant, addresses that those with higher statuses than us are not necessarily wiser or simply better, or anything of that sort.
The questioning lines in the poem are my favorite part, they've got a stern outlook, insight.
