Memento Mori

Memento Mori

A Poem by spence
"

Remember you will die.

"

The vigour of mortis
Corpses contorted
Lifetimes distorted
While war has its way

Marching like cattle
Sent forth into battle
Hear the death rattle
The ending of days

Kings place their Aces
Pawns move to places
Where Knights joust at races
The terror at play

The times are a changing
False freedom’s are fading
Those home fires raging
The whole world will pay
