No Sympathy

A poem about what happens when you finally violate people's trust in you one time too many. (Most unfortunately based off real life thing that happened to me)

Now your friends don’t like you.

Oh, and mine don’t either. Nor do I.

 

Poor you, feeling lonely?

It’s too damn f*****g bad.

That’s what you get when

You consider people playthings!

 

No means no. Stop means stop.  Get it straight.

Oh, you’re STILL violating boundaries?

 

Sex toys your girl friends are NOT!

You said you’d never do it again.

Many a time you’ve said this.

Pray tell us then, why?

After all this forgiveness? Why do you

Throw a fast pitch back into our faces?

How many times can you prove false? CONGRATULATIONS!

You’ve FINALLY done it one time too many!

 

For now we ALL  know what you are

Rapist in the making!

Oh, you’ve  had PLENTY of second chances

Misogynistic martyr, we have our limits.

 

Understand this, you reap what you sow. You’ve

Sown seeds of sorrow. Now enjoy the reaping!

Yeah not exactly domestic violence. Nothing physical at least in regards of the speaker though what subject did to those girls was terrible. I suppose one might interpret it as emotional violence?

This is well written, and with the fact that is pure emotion written poem. it gives a strong sense of emotion that pulls the reader into it, especially if they are a girl and have ever felt used by a boy who they trusted. With what I saw, i say all girls should read this.

I do agree with yer these lines .. very true write .. man should learn what a woman wants, woman wants love and love to be in heart without pain and hurt of body but a man never understands the heart of a woman and always hurt a woman hard .. it's a realistic realistic write.. it's a cool msg you've conveyed through the piece that we should stop doing hurt anybody ... we should stop being staking someone's life. Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. I was also very intrigued by your interpretation. Just as the subject of the poem had no sympathy for the girls he victimized, the speaker has no sympathy for the subject suffering the karmic consequences because she feels he deserves them

A man should show some respect to Women not because she can't fight ... we know she can.. but to earn some respect from Women and make an image of a good personality among the all arena of the world a man should show some respect. I've figured out I more thing that if a man shows some respect to women .. then women love that guy and wish if all man'd be just like a that man ... those who never hurt but spread love and kindness ...

I could feel the emotion in this write. It has depth, wisdom and a warning that we do indeed reap what we sow. The subject of it sounds like they are self-destructive or self sabotaging, which is a difficult behavior to break. Once all bridges are burned, that's almost impossible to fix.
