I Try to Love ThemA Poem by Speechless ShadowAnother poem by speechless.
I sit alone and try to love them
I sit alone and drown in tears. I sit alone and try to love them I sit alone and laugh like death. I sit alone and try to love them But I have lost my eyes, so I have lost my tears. I sit alone and try to love them I have lost my touch, my feelings have vanished. I sit alone and try to love them Piercing sounds of love's cold laugh hurts so much Like painful knives on a cold winter evening. I sit alone and try to love them Love hurts so much more than it should Like cold fingers on burning flames. I sit alone and try to love them But the love hurts oh so much, darling. I sit alone and try to love them But death has finally settled on my shoulders. © 2010 Speechless ShadowAuthor's Note
