Seventy DaysA Poem by SpectreI think I'm over it.I have a thousand words to say
After seventy long days dark and gloomy is my path I feel sadness and I feel wrath But at the end of the day, I laugh Because you're now in the past I used to feel so betrayed Now the grey has faded away The stars shine through the mist The scars vanish from my wrist I had lost myself for so long Was what I did really so wrong? I ask myself every day I hope, I wish, I sing, I pray Why the hell couldn't I stay? But here we are after seventy days We've both gone our separate ways I will always remember you as my best friend Always, from now until the end. © 2017 SpectreReviews
