Something I wrote a LONG time ago

Once upon a time, there was a girl who lived in the clouds.  She lived there with her family and friends, and their friends.  Her parents always told her not to get too close to the edge of the clouds or she might fall off.  This girl was especially curious.  So, one day she crept over to the edge and saw all there was to see. She saw oceans and birds.  Jungles and deserts.  Small people walking around and the beautiful things they created.  She saw birth and death, and love.  Without realizing it the girl had leaned too far over and tumbled off of her clouds. 
Terrified and confused she fell faster and faster crashing through the air. 
Wind rushing through her hair. 
Thoughts flying by, too fast to comprehend. 
Falling faster.
Things got real quiet in her head. 
The ground was rushing up to meet her,
getting closer,
and closer,
and closer,
until suddenly

if you wake up from your daydream and fall off your cloud, reality my hit you and that can be really painful. unless I got the message wrong.
