A Poem by Nicole
"

A creative write about fire and winter

"
Ballet dancers of orange and red flicker in the night
Across log floors and enclosed by iron gates- the knights
Winds howl as they turn and twist
As "dancers" collapse in a fiery mist
Rosy cheeks and bright golden hair; warming icy souls
Casting shadows across green spruce branches and charcoal coal
While crystalline snowflakes of icy jewels gently fall on flames
Unique snow crystals will melt away, to pools of water all the same

This is gorgeous... short and sweet. I absolutley love the metaphor and how it is detailed and yet simple to grasp.
My favourtie line is 'Winds howl as they turn and twist' because it encompasses both fire and dancers so honestly.
An excellent poem, keep posting up your work you are a terrific writer.

I like the contrasting imagery of the fire and the snowflakes.
Beautiful imagery all around.

A title? Hmmm, I don't know-- Winter Dance maybe.
