Summer's RainbowA Poem by NicoleWrote this piece last summer, and decided to publish it now... Missing the warm summer season:/Summer's Rainbow
Sienna empty skies, the sun has set burnt skin from when the day wasn't over just yet
Golden the sun- above and below blue; the tides and the skies warm sand -between my toes, and along shores it lies
Cerulean sunkissed waves of the deep glistening reflections off the Caribbean
White vanilla bean, dripping down my hand
Colours of pink, green lay across the beach while surfers are taking break
Navy above me, where the azure lies silvery stars splattered across night skies the last thing before my eyes before I drift to sleep
and when I awake the colours start all over again © 2011 Nicole |
