My Mistake

I was so sure

that it would be

different than it was.

i am shades of shocked-

scared-

confused-

that i wonder if it was a

nightmare.

The tears won't stop!

i am covered in shame-

head to toe

flesh to bone.

i cant even breath

without remembering-

lips touching

water slipping in.

hands moving

to places...

pain in a good way.

trying to understand

why it felt so good.

when it shouldn't have.

my heart was beating

too fast

to slow down,

wishing for

more skin

to skin

contact.

but so glad

i said no.
