Tell me again

Tell me again

A Poem by Sarah

Tell me again how i ruined
your life?
tell me again how all you
did was love me?
Reassure me i am wrong in all this.
for i am the one with
a demon attached to their soul.
I close my eyes
and i fly
high over this
town and this life.
Chasing the new unexplored
worlds above and beyond
what is known.
i can feel the star dust
slip through my fingers-
fine as sand-
cold as snow.
I dance on every last note-
played in my head-
a ballet
for my unspoken thoughts.
tell me again how i would
never be anything
in this life?
tell me again how i am worthless?
what is worthless
when i have people who
want me around?
tell me again?
