to youA Poem by speakingcolorsif you can't see by now that this has all been for you, then shame on me and my silent tongue. it seems the words for sunrise have slipped and fallen away and i do not know whether they can ever be found. truthfully, these lost words sit right before me, but they are beyond my reach and i just can't make them out. i've strained my eyes and arms and yet, the more i do, the farther away they sound. with each fading word comes the fresh pain of how they burn inside of me. i do hope for a time when i may be able to carry these nearly spoken words, though i do not know if your sunrise and mine will ever grace the sky together. so if you can see and if you know that this is, in the end, all for you, bless you and your silent tongue. © 2010 speakingcolorsReviews
