inaudible silenceA Poem by speakingcolorsdisclaimer: i in no way mean to offend anyone with this poem. the intent is not to point out the flaws of others, but to comment on what true silence is.i've often wondered what it would be like to hear nothing at all. it may be difficult to understand what i mean when i say this, but i assure you it is not so difficult for some. you and i, we hear silence everyday and yet have no idea what sound it truely makes. i envy those who have this wisdom, for i believe that absolute nothingness must sound so beautiful. and yet, at the same time, i weep for their absence, for there is only silence that i cannot hear. and they, it is only silence that fills their ears. © 2009 speakingcolors |
