A Poem by speakingcolors

what simple complexity.

on.

off.

from this choice,

everything else reads.

but, if you don't know

the key to its design,

it can send your head spinning.

you can be so confused

that it may become unrecognizable,

a blurred, endless chain

of delusion.

it will occupy you

in your newfound absence of sleep

as you try and decipher

its code.

the more you try

the more it changes,

in no seemingly tangible manner.

but just as you feel defeated,

you pass that moment

and you realize it was only complex

because you didn't make it simple.

after all, that's what makes it so beautiful.

on.

off.

l like your idea. It's really creative. I find it fascinating how you describe the complexity of... hmm... a *simple* 01101100 01101111 01110110 01100101. I probably would've used some figurative emotional responses in relation to on/off, for emphasis, but your descriptions work just fine.

Wow.. I loved this.. the complexity you turned from simplicity of binary.. lol.. I found humour in it but also the madness in the trying to unlock chain of technology.. and I imagine when you stare at those numbers long enough they would drive you mad.. amazing how technology can operate off such a simple yet complex structure..wonderful job.. this was both creative and unique!
