A Story by speakingcolors

Hey, do you remember how we're all imperfect?  Well, if you didn't, NEWS FLASH:  We are.  Unfortunately, then, we all make mistakes.  Take our writings here on WritersCafe as an example.  We all make typos, we all have grammer issues from time to time.  No big deal, right?  Right.  You know what's nice about this site?  The pictures we get to attach to our writings.  That's not the point I'm trying to make, I just like that about this site.  Anyways, the nice thing about this site is being able to give and receive reviews from other writers.  It's nice to get that cyber pat-on-the-back.  Every once in awhile, someone tells us what's up with our piece.  No problem there, right?  Right.  We all need constructive criticism.  But that's not the point I'm trying to make either.  The problem I have is when people review your or mine or someone else's poem and they tear it apart for spelling and grammer but in their review, they can't spell worth a blood nickel.  And on top of that, they can't hold grammer any more than...than...well something that can't hold its grammer.  No problem there, right?  Wrong.  These people are morons and I can't stand them.

In total agreement with this rant. If you know what's wrong with a piece but you can't fix it yourself, don't be negative about it. Point it out, admit that you have similar issues, and move on.
