Dandylion

Dandylion

A Poem by speakingcolors
"

I know that's not the way you spell it...

"

Just two hours

and yet so far away

So close to me

yet I can't think to say

You're so dandylion

so caught up in the clouds

You're so sunshine

so warm inside my arms

Kiss me sometime

once the jar's off the shelf

Or take my hand

and I'll kiss you myself

Wonderful you

with your cute little way

Mismatch your socks

and I'll miss you today

You're so dandylion

so caught up in the clouds

You're so sunshine

so warm inside my arms

Glad I stumbled upon this...nicely done! The flow was really nice, and I could see this very easily being put to music and sounding really catchy and deep. Actually, this reminds me of the writing of some of my all time favorite, uncovnetional alternative lyricists...clever, very clever!

I love the third line with such passion, you've no idea.
Great poem.
