My Black Tears

My Black Tears

A Poem by speakingcolors

I'm calling you

To make it right

You said we're through

But still there's light

I saw you turn

And look away

But your return

Is what I pray

Each time you go

I can't look at myself

So you should know

My heart is fell

Drained of your love

Trapped in the cell

Of a dead dove

I reach for hope

Of your return

But I can't cope

For when you turn

Each time you go

I can't look at myself

So you should know

That I am crying these black tears for you

And when you go

I sit down and sing this song

For long ago

Before I was stained with your perfect love

My one last chance

To take a vow

For yur romance

My final bow

Each timeyou go

I can't look at myself

So you should know

That I am crying my black tears for you
