A Day In the Life

A Day In the Life

A Poem by speakingcolors
"

About depression and trying to hide it from others. Of the a.m. collection.

"

A sad day comes only once in awhile

But once in awhile comes everyday for me

I cannot manage, it hurts just to smile

"Get me out of here!" is my own true heart's plea

But I smile despite feeling this way

To hide what I am from everyone I know

Though I am wallowing in life's bouquet

I try to trick them so myself does not show
