Comfortable Conclusion

Comfortable Conclusion

A Poem by speakingcolors
"

Life sucks. You have to find something good, even if it's not a perfect situation. I wrote this song to assure myself that I can still be happy amidst this troubled world.

"

Broken hearts
Shattered faith
The happ’nings of our life
We all walk on with this pain
That only time can heal

Crooked paths
Darkened roads
I’m lost inside this world
Wond’ring where my lifeline is
I choose a door and take it

Sunken down
Deep inside
The quicksand of my life
Swallowed into my demise
I try hard not to tread

You can search all your life
And not know what you’ve been searching for
Something needs to be found
That can help you deal with what’s become
Comfortable conclusion
Where you’re fin'lly happy in the end

Beaten down
Not picked back up
I have come to be
Even if I can’t find peace
I hope I live again

Reaching out
Grabbing air
My last resort is gone
Fluttered away in the breeze
Leaving behind no trail

You can search all your life
And not know what you’ve been searching for
Something needs to be found
That can help you deal with what’s become
Comfortable conclusion
Where you’re finally happy in the end
