Candle wick candle stick

Candle wick candle stick

A Poem by spayne94

Today it is contented
Twirling in the glass oval similar to a young ballerina with grace and beauty,
A tall body flicking back and forth trying to decipher between choice and choice,
Emitting a faint musk, it lightens the surrounding faces

Today it is full of devestation,
With hints of moon and midnight it is thin and lies low,
Crying in the glass you see the emotion in it's eyes,
Flickering slow with no hope and a broken heart,
You can only pray for it's weakness to be cured

Today it is fierce with anger,
It's red arrow shoots rapidly around the waxen shell,
Running out of time it begins to melt,
Will it survive the horrors or will it die?

Very unique way to express the behavior of a candle stick in a glass. I found this to be creative in content as well as structure since you organize it to depict the candle's personified emotions. Excellent work with this poem~
