Exception?

Exception?

A Poem by sparkly.ghost

As she charged her body into the dark

Tiny things began to scream and her brain and gut were

Working in confliction, causing earthquakes, floods, electric shocks and

Shivers down her spine sent roadmaps twirling through her eyes the

Directions pointing backward, (you’re going the wrong way) but

NO

The tiny things kept screaming, screaming the

Natural disasters cackled maniacally and

Her brain weakly told her feet to RUN

To

Keep

On

RUNNING

(gasping) (breathless)

and her gut reminded her feet to

FIND THE F*****G LOOPHOLE

And she finally realizes the increasingly obvious fact of that

this is the exception

to the idea that everything can exist all at once together…

she thinks.

Maybe?

About
Life is so mysterious and complex, yet I can't seem to give up on finding the answers to WHY. Through my writing, I guess, I'm able to let go of some of that uncertainty, and accept that everything is.. more..
