Job

Job

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

At your side I stand, naked and exposed,
For in my wildest moment I cannot look away...
With my soul exposed and set down on the table
What am I now? If I am not your own?
Struggle to survive, am I now alone?
In my darkest moments, I firmly stand to guard,
All my wounds are bleeding, I am black and blue,
But as I stand here hurting, I am protecting you.
