Unorganized

Unorganized

A Poem by Laura Sparkle
"

trying to fight writer's block...

"

Thoughts scurry down a reeking alley,

Fight for an escape from this battle… blood dripping…

Drunken memories of a distant paradise,

And we fight, have we forgotten this world isn’t ours?

And I try to fight, I stand and wave these ideas

Only to be put out and shot down,

Maybe it’s just easier to black out, than remember

My every cry is a forgotten disguise…

I’m okay, I swear. Trust me, I’m lying.
