Fight for survival

Fight for survival

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Sucked into this never-ending vortex,

You push and pull and I blindly obey.

I can’t help how I feel and I think about this,

But the circus finally has returned.

I howl an order to have it barked back,

I miss what you once used to be.

The threat you still pose,

The strength you possess

Make you a worthy opponent.

And no matter how much I try to break free,

I’m under a spell and I can feel it control me…

Not something I like, something I want,

But I cannot fight for my freedom.

I once roamed the world,

Alone and afraid…

Now you reinforce what I am.

Complementing my force, and imposing my laws,

Fighting by my side through the dark…

But I will still keep my doubts.

These three wolf piece's you've done are really wonderfully intricate works of art. The first one really shows the difference of black and white and how at the same time, they are so similar. The interview piece was humorous, making me chuckle. I liked the way the wolves are portrayed like one would portray a soldier.
This piece is powerful. Showing the true essence of how being part of a pack and having to follow it's rules and regulations can break someone down, making them feel far smaller then they actually are.

Great Writing Sparkle!
