Grew

Grew

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Am I the same little girl that came to you crying,

Am I the same girl that knew she’s dying

Am I the reason you fight for your life

Is this true? Is this the moment I could pull down the moon?

Do you have an answer for the pain inside, did you realize

I’m not the same kid that came for you,

I grew up.

Interesting... Gives me the image of a mirrored thought between child of the past and the current for of the now. Same person portrayed by two images in the mirror, in conflict with eachother. I might even go as far as the older is trying to blame the younger for being weak then, for a fear that she has now.

Cool piece.
