Roll of a Dice

Roll of a Dice

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Lay your cars on the table, no more playing right now

Time to show me your weakness and not be afraid.

Time to trust me into being your guard,

I shall keep you safe, come home to me.

Show me how it ends and how the blood pours,

Show me the cuts without any cures,

Show me to pain that comes with the tears,

Have no fear darling. I’m here.

Cards on the table, you’ve dealt your best hand.

Time to show you the wager is on the table,

Too late for changes, you bet your life,

And I don’t allow you to recall.

I would assume you know what youre doing,

This game is a game you have played before.

And the experience you gained over the years

Seems to have made you reckless.

Cards on the table, let the dice chose,

Hands where we can see them, just in case you lose

And I can tell you darling, straight up and true,

With this game, I finally have you.

Ahhh I love the e confidence you show as you put your heart on the line and ask the same of the other... for you can't truly love without taking a chance and giving yourself completely.
