Hunger

Hunger

A Poem by Laura Sparkle
"

...vampires...

"

Hungry again, I know my dear

The monster inside begs to be fed,

And I can feel your teeth sharpen

And I can feel your throat itch and hurt

And I can feel the thirst burn.

Come much closer, darling boy,

Let me express how happy I am

Now that I can quench that thirst,

Calm that painful hunger,

And hold you close.

Sink your teeth in me dearest,

My neck is open for any reservation,

You never do, too obvious,

“Too cliché,” that’s what you say,

So aim lower? My wrist?

Feel the pain, darling friend,

Sweet ecstasy for both of us,

Feel the juice run down your throat,

And sink those teeth a little deeper,

I give you my all: my mind and my blood.

You know I love vampires and this is a deliciously tasty piece of writing that brings out the dark sexiness of the immortal creature.
