If you called my cell phone in the dead of night

And told me you’re lost in the middle of nowhere…

If you told me you’re alone and you’re terrified,

I would be there to get you, no questions asked.

 

Is it not funny how we stun everyone?

We promised forever in each other’s arms,

And I stunned the world when I told them the truth

I would do anything you asked me to.

 

If you called my name in the middle of the night,

When someone else is lying in your arms,

I would smile when you told me your mistake,

But I would hold you tighter and tighter.

 

Is it not stunning how we communicate?

I know of you and you know of me without words,

I love you my dearest angel, you’re my life

And for as long as I will exist I will look after you.

 

Forever my angel, for as long as we breathe,

My life has no purpose without you

I miss you, my dearest, you locked me in love,

Any time you call me, I swear I will come.
