Afraid of my thoughts

Sending thoughts to my head

Thoughts I am afraid to keep,

I look at the crowd

And I can’t single out

Anyone.

 

All is a blur and my heart fades,

The cloud that surrounds me is choking

And I look at the crowd, trying to see

If you’re hidden somewhere

Near me.

 

Looking into the night, staring at the moon,

Trying to figure out what I can do

And I’m lost and confused,

And I am afraid,

I missed you.
