Absolute

Absolute

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Painful moments lost in time’s silly vortex

Aching souls wailing together in unison,

Hurting the strong and the innocents…

Stinging blood vessels like acetone

Throbbing in the moonlit night

Grief-filled children watch carefully the end.

Sorrow approaches quietly

Anguish follows like shadowy doubt

Ache plugs the veins

Torturing the humans with acid.

Agony is a major understatement…

Drag me across rusty nails

Bind me with screws to the rock

Desire still calls

Dreams of you inspire

Futures unwind

Adore this moment!

Worship the moonlight

Fancy the sun

Adore life as I adore you

Friendship is priceless

Tenderness is much needed…

Feelings control me

Fondness overwhelms…

Devotion is a small sacrifice,

Passionate kisses filled with the

Ardor we need so very much.

Darling, understand

Dear, be patient

Dearest, give me a chance

Sweetheart, allow me to prove this…

Honey, I’ll make you happy.
